| The
school is planned to serve 1,125 students in grades six
to eight. Reflecting the concepts of the Carnegie Council's
Turning Points, classrooms will be organized in
"pods" within grade level "houses."
Each house will contain two pods, each with four classrooms
and a science room clustered about a central common technology/computer
space. |
Sharing a central technology space will permit an entire
class of students to use computers simultaneously, and
will optimize the use of this costly equipment throughout
the school day. |
